Cloudview Cellars was founded by a young couple who had always dreamt of creating their own wine. Both were wine enthusiasts, with a deep love for the art of winemaking and a vision to share their passion with the world. They bought a piece of land overlooking the valley, planted their first vines, and started their journey.Passed down through generations, the winery’s name was inspired by an old family legend. It was said that when the founders first laid eyes on the property, they gazed upon the rolling vine-covered hills just as the morning fog began to lift, revealing a breathtaking view of the valley below. They were so moved by this ethereal sight that they named the winery "Cloudview."

The third generation of the family has taken over the reins of Cloudview. They are a dynamic trio that has introduced modern technology to the winery to enhance their operations. They have focused on expanding the vineyard, introducing new varieties of grapes, and seeking out other fine grapes that California has to offer.The unique terroir coupled with skilled winemaking techniques combine to produce exceptional fruit. Our grapes are harvested in the early morning to ensure they are cool and retain their freshness.

Planted on their own roots in pure sand over 100 years ago, these Zinfandel and Petite Sirah vines are still cranking out intensely concentrated, complex fruit today. But vineyards in this part of California are an endangered species.Tasting Notes
A seamless cuvée of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon that, blended, produces a bold, fruit-forward, and delicious, with a dense, dark ruby core. Its aromas are led by sun-kissed blackberry, lilac, and roses, with a brushstroke of eucalyptus and cassis. The mouthfeel is equally joyful, with a mountain of flavor and richness balanced with a hint of acidity and well-rounded tannins that resolve in a long finish.
